Article-7: Drivers of motivation of the frontline healthcare warriors in India during COVID19: An empirical investigation

Motivation and faith of the Healthcare worker is the central pillar on which the healthcare system leans during a public health crisis. Countries across the globe struggled to fight the COVID-19 warfare, with the healthcare workers leading from the front. In operational terms, motivation is the eagerness and willingness of the worker to take initiatives and exert towards the laid down organizational goals (Franco, 2002). Thus it becomes important to focus on the factors or determinants of this crucial psychological resource called ‘worker motivation’ that can ensure a sustained supply of adrenaline fueling the passion and performance of healthcare workers during a crisis.
