Article-6: A satisfaction survey of battery operated bus services for intramural transportation in a tertiary care hospital

Abstract:
This study was intended to find out the satisfaction level among users of battery operated bus services introduced at the institute under CSR initiative. By analyzing the results it was found that the battery operated bus services were used by mostly patients, attendants, staff and students of hospital for intramural transportation as there are large distances in the campus. The participants showed satisfaction with regard to signage, location of bus stop, waiting time, comfort, safety & behavior of bus staff. Overall satisfaction with the bus services was 88%.

This study findings support the concept of intramural transportation within large tertiary care hospitals.
