An alumna of the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, she holds an MBBS and MD in Hospital Administration.

• Awarded multiple commendations by the Chief of Army Staff and Army Commanders for meritorious service.
• Planned and developed 7 military hospitals across India, each with capacities ranging from 250 to 800 beds.
• Led the management of Medical Stores at two of the Armed Forces’ largest tertiary care hospitals — in Pune and Delhi — handling complex logistics and large inventories.
• Commanded two military hospitals in strategically important areas of Punjab and Assam.
• Served as a Professor in the Department of Hospital Administration at AFMC Pune, with over 12 years of teaching experience.
